St. Vincent’s List

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul

St. Martha Parish

Meridian Township, Okemos, Michigan

You are viewing the St. Martha Parish, Society of St. Vincent de Paul web page. The members of this Conference of The Society of St. Vincent de Paul are parishioners of St. Martha Church. Our mission is to help people within our Parish boundaries who find themselves in temporary need of assistance, typically of a one-time nature. As needs arise, this web page will display help sought through our St. Martha Conference for the benefit of those requesting assistance in our community. Before any request for help is placed on this web page, members of our Conference will have visited the family or individual requesting assistance in order to verify the need and determine the type and amount of assistance we hope to provide. If you are able to contribute all or any portion of the needs listed, we ask you to please donate by responding to our e-mail solicitation found by clicking on the 'current needs' prompt at the top or bottom of this page. If you would like to join us in our efforts to serve our community, please attend our meetings held the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month immediately following the 10AM Mass, September through May (and once per month on varied dates in June, July, and August) in the Knights of Columbus Meeting Room in the lower level of the main Church building. We enthusiastically welcome new members and ideas.

  • If you have material goods to donate at any time, not specifically associated with one of our ‘Client’ requests, please contact the St. Vincent de Paul Store in downtown Lansing at (517) 484-5395.
  • Please also consider donating food or money to the Haslett Food Bank. You may contact the Food Bank at (517) 339-8383.

Each of these Community Service Organizations play a large role in conjunction with our St. Martha Parish, Society of St. Vincent de Paul in assisting our neighbors in need.
