Members of our Parish form this Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and have a mission to help people within our Parish boundaries who find themselves in temporary need of assistance, typically of a one-time nature.
Members of our Conference visit the family or individual requesting assistance in order to verify the need and determine the type and amount of assistance we hope to provide.
Parishioners can contribute to St. Martha's St. Vincent de Paul Society by selecting the St. Vincent de Paul fund in the drop-down in online giving, contributing in the designated St. Vincent de Paul envelope, or via the lock boxes by the votive candles in the Narthex.
Council meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month immediately following the 10 am Mass in our Conference Room from September through May, and once per month in June, July, and August. If you are interested in helping within the Council we enthusiastically welcome new members and ideas!
Come to one of our Council meetings or call the parish office for more information.
Both of these Community Service Organizations play a large role in cooperation with us to assist our neighbors in need.
