During the month of November, we remember in prayer our loved ones who have died, especially in the past year.
On Wednesday, November 6th, we invite all parishioners, along with family members and friends, to join us for a 6:00 pm Mass of Remembrance.
If your loved one’s death occurred on or after September 1, 2023, and you wish to have him or her remembered by name at this Mass, please fill out the form below and send a digital photo to our parish Administrative Assistant Claire Boomer at cboomer@st-martha.orgon or before Wednesday, October 30th. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before Mass begins on Wednesday, November 6th.
Someone will be waiting to assist you at or near the baptismal font at the back of the church. One member from each family being remembered by name will be invited to join the opening Procession, carrying a lit candle to the altar to burn in your loved one’s memory near their framed photo throughout the Mass.
Other dearly departed loved ones have gone before us prior to September 1, 2023, will also be acknowledged and remembered in prayer at this very special Mass.
Scripture continues to remind us of the promise of Resurrection.
May we be a community of faith that remembers our beloved dead, prays for them, and comforts the brokenhearted.
