In a loving, nurturing, Christ-like environment,
Saint Martha School guides each student to his or her unique ability
and potential through prayer, study, and service.
Saint Martha School, the school you can trust to give your child an excellent education in a faith-filled and nurturing environment!
When Saint Martha began, our founding pastor knew that creating a school would bring life and excitement to the parish. Today, as you walk through our halls and listen to the caring, joyful voices of our students and teachers, you find that the Love of Jesus Christ is at the center of our daily life and interactions.
With students in Preschool through 8th grade, Saint Martha School provides a safe and dynamic Catholic environment where your child can excel in his or her faith and academic journey!
Request a TourCatechesis of the Good Shepherd is a hands-on approach to Faith Formation that allows children to discover God and His love for us. This child-centered, child-directed, soundly traditional method of introducing children to the Mystery of God allows the children to work with materials doing things like setting up the Altar for Mass, retelling Bible stories using hands-on figurines and dioramas, dressing a priest in vestments, spending time in prayer, and so much more!
Sessions for Level 1, children ages 3-6 are offered on Sunday mornings from 9:50-11:00 am. Sessions for Level 2, children ages 7-9 are offered on Sunday mornings from 11:15 am until noon.
We use the Spirit of Truth series for grades 1 through 6. This curriculum covers the breadth of the Catechism in a rich and age-appropriate way, to connect with students of diverse backgrounds and differing familiarity with the Catholic Faith. While it is important for our students to understand the Faith, Spirit of Truth is designed to help them internalize the Faith and apply it to their own lives, providing ample opportunity for them to reflect on how everything they are learning applies to their own lived experience.
All sessions for grades 1 through 6 meet for Whole Family Catechesis about once a month. Families are expected to attend all of these sessions. These are actually the most important classes as they build community as well as give a great example to our children of their parent's relationship with Christ! These classes are offered on Sundays from 9 to 9:50 am, or on Wednesdays from 6 to 7 pm.
The Saint Martha Council of Catholic Women (CCW) exists to unite the women of Saint Martha Parish for the spiritual, social, and educational enrichment of its members and for the welfare of the Parish community.
We would like to extend a warm invitation to all women of the Parish to participate in our activities and meetings this year. Any registered woman of Saint Martha Parish is already a member!
Our monthly meetings run from September through May and consist of a spiritual reflection and business agenda followed by a speaker, service activity, or social event.
