We are excited to offer our youngest children something new! Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a hands-on approach to Faith Formation that allows children to discover God and His love for us. This child-centered, child-directed, soundly traditional method of introducing children to the Mystery of God allows the children work with materials doing things like setting up the Altar for Mass, retelling Bible stories using hands-on figurines and dioramas, dressing a priest in vestments, spending time in prayer, and so much more!
Sessions are offered on Monday afternoons from 4:30 to 5:30 pm. To register, use the registration instructions below.

We use the Spirit of Truth series for grades 1 through 6. This curriculum covers the breadth of the Catechism in a rich and age-appropriate way, to connect with students of diverse backgrounds and differing familiarity with the Catholic Faith. While it is important for our students to understand the Faith, Spirit of Truth is designed to help them internalize the Faith and apply it to their own lives, providing ample opportunity for them to reflect on how everything they are learning applies to their own lived experience.
All sessions for grades 1 thorugh 6 meet for Whole Family Catechesis about once a month. Families are expected to attend all of these sessions. These are actually the most important classes as they build community as well as give a great example to our children of their parent's relationship with Christ!
These classes are offered on Sundays from 9 to 9:50 am, or on Wednesdays from 6 to 7 pm.
A different choice for all families in grades 1 through 8, is a homeschooling program called A family of Faith. This is a parent-lead family type of Catechesis that will require parents to lead their children at home. If you are interested in sharing our Catholic Faith at home as a family, choose the Homeschooling option when selecting a class. Because we are One Body in Christ, we want to be sure that we build our church community so please remember that we strongly encourage you to join us for the monthly Whole Family class, either on Sunday morning or one of the Wednesday options.
