We invite you to take a walk with Jesus ~ physically and Spiritually ~ this Easter Season and beyond

Wow, we are on a roll! We not only reached Caesarea By the Sea, but we made it all the way to Nazareth, which is another 55 Miles.
Nazareth is the town where Jesus grew up, as we all know. Here you can find Mary's Well, where the Angel Gabrel asked Mary to be the mother of God as well as the Church of St. Joseph, which traditionally marks the home of the Holy Family. We also made a stop at the Chruch of the Annunciation, built over the place where Mary lived as a child, and her parents, Jesus's grandparents lived when Jesus was a little boy.

Our next stop is Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee! Can we walk a mere 35 miles?

This is a busy stop as we will be able to take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, and see so many places that Jesus roamed about~ Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus taught us these special guides for living, Tabgha, where Jesus fed the 5,000 and Capernaum where we can still see parts of the synagogue where Jesus taught and gave his sermon from John, Chapter 6 on the Bread of Life. We will also make a stop at Cana and renew our wedding vows!

To find out more about these places, visit the websites below and check out the picture gallery below this article. Check out your favorite Gospel stories to learn more as well~ Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

If you haven't joined us yet, you still can, Here is how~

This is very simple, just use the form below to enter miles you have walked or minutes you have spent in prayer, reading the Bible or other Spiritual Practices. 10 minutes of prayer and/or reading equals 1 mile of walking.
There are a lot of ways to join in, for example, if you pray the Rosary and it takes 20 minutes, you can log in 20 minutes and that counts as 2 miles. If a family of 4 walks together for 2 miles, you would log in 8 miles. If a couple spends 20 minutes in prayer together, you log in 40 minutes of prayer. The total number of miles walked will be updated daily on the top picture of this page.
Don't worry, we have 50 days of Easter and 1,000 families to get there. This first portion of the journey is a big one, but once we get there we will be getting to awesome new places in no time.

Here is Bible Scavenger Hunt you can use to make your walks more interesting ~
