“See what love the Father has bestowed on us, that we may be called children of God.” -1 John 3:1

At the core of our being is a desire for meaningful connection and authentic relationship. We long to love and be loved, but how often do we just feel lonely?

As we search for ways to escape these feelings of isolation, there comes a small, quiet whisper that pierces through to the depths of our heart: “You are never alone, because you are Mine.”

This summer, over 50,000 Catholic teens across North America will attend one of 24 Steubenville Youth Conferences to encounter the God who calls us His sons and daughters. Come and experience His overwhelming love for you. You belong here.

Registration is Now Open!

Dear St. Martha Teens and Parents,

St. Martha has just opened up registration for the Steubenville Youth Conference. Currently we have space for eight students from our parish to join other youth from around the Lansing Diocese to take a bus from Lansing Catholic to the Steubenville conference. Of all the youth events we have put on over the year this is the one I would personally recommend as the most eye opening and meaningful. During my high school career I attended three Steubenville conferences. At the end of each of conference I always found myself leaving with a more mature and widened understanding of the faith and what it means to be Catholic in a world that often ignores my own personal value, that fails to recognize the call to serve and love others, and cannot see the love that Jesus has for each one of us. This year's particular theme of 'belonging' is especially stirring because in the modern world we often find ourselves running around trying to do everything and be everything. It can almost feel as if we are not good enough, and that we do not belong unless we somehow measure up to all these external ideals and expectations that are placed upon us. I would invite you to consider taking a few days off this summer to disconnect from the busyness of life, reconnect with God, and remember that you are truly loved and that you truly belong.

God Bless,
