Dear CCW Sisters in Christ,

Like most of our community, the CCW board is hunkered down in our homes in the collective effort to stop and end the spread of the corona virus. We are missing each of you and holding everyone up in our prayers.

Saturday morning the board held a Zoom meeting to discuss many things, including future meetings. We have made the decision to cancel all planned meetings through this spring and hope and fervently pray that we can resume meeting again the in the fall. What a joyous occasion that will be!

This also means postponing elections for a new board and the volunteer of the year recognition. Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated as we adapt to our current situation.

High School Student Recognition:
Beth Buiocchi will talk with Jim Ault about how the Knights and CCW should handle the student recognition program as well as the application process this spring. Updates to come when a decision has been made.

Craft Show:
For the time being, we will proceed with discussions to hold a craft show. The first thing on the to-do list is to identify two volunteers to chair this project. Please consider serving in this capacity to see that a major source of CCW income remains in place.

Future CCW meetings and format:
Before the virus struck, the board was discussing what might be done to encourage more people in the parish to attend meetings and take part in activities. We'll use this down time to continue pursuing this topic to build our active membership base. Look for a survey in the future to help us gather input from our parishioners.

Other things
You should be receiving regular email messages from Fr. Mike, whose words do much to inspire and lift us up during this time of quarantine. If you are not receiving parish emails, please go to the bottom of our homepage to register your email address.
Take advantage of attending mass regularly while in your home. There are several options available throughout the diocese. Click HERE to see all that is available!
And finally, if you have not already "liked" our CCW's Facebook page, please take a moment to do so if you have a Facebook account. We will share information there more frequently.
