Saint Martha School is committed to providing the highest quality, Catholic education to our students. Our curriculum offers strong foundations in traditional subjects with a focus on faith. At Saint Martha, your child will learn Christian virtues and the importance of serving others. Meeting the needs of the whole child’s physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual growth prepares our students for success as future leaders as Disciples of Christ.
Instruction
Engaging instruction, with an emphasis of hands-on learning, encourages student achievement and confidence. Our limited enrollment ensures greater individual attention for each child. Students receive instruction in language arts, mathematics, Next Generation Science, social studies, and religion, with integration of Christian teaching in all subjects. Students and teachers have access to a variety of technology tools to enhance their learning including a media center with 28 desktop computers and classroom sets of Chromebooks and iPads. All classrooms are equipped with Clevertouch interactive panels for the most up to date learning. In addition to the core curriculum, students receive weekly instruction in art, music, physical education, technology, and introduction to Spanish. Violin instruction is offered as an elective in grades K through 8, as well.
Assessment
Students in grades 3 through 8 take the MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) NWEA assessment three times throughout the school year to measure student growth. These online, multiple choice tests are adaptive to each child. The assessment allows the teachers to get a sense of the student’s performance and aides in making informed decisions regarding instruction that will promote a child’s academic growth.
SchoolSpeak
SchoolSpeak is Saint Martha’s communication tool and our student information system. Students and parents have access to assignments, forms, and newsletters, as well as student grades and progress reports. This portal is only visible to enrolled families.

The Stanford Achievement Test measures educational outcomes from students across the country, and our students consistently score in the top 20th percentile - and often in the top 10th percentiles!
